OK here we go...
I think all Americans owe a huge "thank you" to all of the House members who cast their votes to oppose the stimulus bill.
Let me ask several questions about our country: the USofA
-whats with the 900+ billion dollar stimulus package (that probably won't work)?
-whats with the clause in the stimulus package that says that schools that allow religion in schools or allow religious organizations (non-profit or profit) to use the facilities will not receive any funds (correct me if im wrong but im 99.99% sure of this)?
-whats with Obama appointing tax evaders?

-whats with the 'yes we can'? are we zombies saying the same thing over & over?
-can we revamp the health care system yet?

-what is with congress running around, arguing around about every single little teeny tiny thing? can we get something done around here yet?
-corruption? (oh god i don't even want to go here)

-can we help more the poor people than focusing on the rich? they don't need anything

I like Barack Obama very much as a person but i don't necessarily agree with everything that he has done.
The economic bill takes money--actually, it borrows money--and decides where it should go. It does virtually nothing to stimulate the economy while it wastes billions of taxpayer dollars.
Here are some things that are in the economic bill
-$400 million for researching sexually transmitted diseases,
-$200 million for bike and pedestrian trails and off-road vehicle routes,
-$200 million to force the military to buy environmentally friendly electric cars,
-$30 million to renovate the Department of Commerce headquarters,
-$75 million for a program to end smoking, which if successful will bankrupt the children's health program Democrats are about to pass.
